Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from East Central University and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Northeastern State University. Additionally, she holds the esteemed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. 

Luann’s journey into accounting began in high school, where she discovered her knack for recording transactions. Motivated by a desire to support her family and inspired by their emphasis on curiosity and knowledge, she embarked on a fulfilling career in accounting. 

Known for her strengths in active listening and understanding the big picture for business owners, Luann has successfully tackled challenges, such as navigating recent IRS process changes for Partnership Tax Audits. Her noteworthy achievements include attaining a Master’s degree, achieving the CPA designation, and securing a partnership at a prominent 150-person CPA firm with international reach. She is an expert in IRS Audit tax representation and problem resolution and has extensive experience in both the manufacturing and home health industries 

Proudly associated with the largest Oklahoma CPA firm in the Cannabis Industry, Luann is at the forefront of compliance in this rapidly evolving field. 

Acknowledging staffing challenges in the accounting profession, Luann advocates for automation to address the shortage of professionals. She often reaches out within her community coaching the importance of financial literacy. Luann is energized when she is empowering those around her with the practical knowledge and unwavering confidence to chart their own financial course and build vibrant futures, especially young adults. Her work style, characterized by genuine care for people, forms the foundation of her success. She also finds passion in connecting with business owners and helping them attain their goals and dreams. 

Beyond her professional commitments, Luann enjoys scuba diving, swimming, reading, mowing, and quilting. Actively engaged in Team Tyman Love Legacy, a non-profit providing travel resources to rural cancer patients, she exemplifies her dedication to community involvement. 

As the oldest of four daughters and a mother and grandmother, Luann’s personal time is dedicated to family. Her upbringing, emphasizing equality, enables her to work seamlessly with individuals at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey including youth who are just beginning their financial endeavors
